I think Andy_con needs some competition, don't you?  :P

I spent most of today getting this working and I think the results are quite good considering there's no 473 in this projector at all. Enjoy

Did you blow any BR's with the blanking? Ive only had one that could take it at lower current, but the driver may be the problem.

only one at the very beginning, but it was due to my stupidity for not checking the amp board's blanking voltages with my oscilloscope - i sent the driver too much voltage and pop went the diode :(

everything was fine after that was fixed though

Ive got a 4 diode array on my bench today, im thinking if ripping my scanner apart again to add it:) I found that with a single BR diode, you really have to tone down the green to get a nice blue. If I turn it up, you get a really cool teal green, but is just not as appealing to the eyes... Its a hard desicion to make ;D

LOL nice vids there.

im working on two more scanners at the moment, a big red and a 405nm.

i would like to get a new case for my rgb and add to it

mix 250mw of 650nm with my 300mw 635nm

and mix 150mw of 405nm with my 100mw 473nm

As far as intensity, BR should be about a third as bright as 473. 150mW of 405 and 100mW of 473 should be about as bright as 150mW of 473. I've read somewhere (maybe it was Leviticus) that a 4.2:1 ratio of BR to green gives an ideal match.

But I'm very impressed with the vids. What are powers? Are you using the Flexmod for the BR? Is it enclosed or out in the open like mine at the moment?  :P

I'm running about 75mw of green, 110mw of red, and 100mw of violet - the violet is running off a flexmod and it's very "open"

(open as in hot glued to a piece of plywood ;D)

That looks very nice. I'm going to build a RGV spiro eventually. A scanner will come after that. I'm waiting for higher power 405 to come out first.

Well done! [smiley=thumbup.gif]
