Hey whats up everyone iam new to this forum and i new that this would be the best one to go to for help!!! i want to build a laser pointer that has a blue beam or a vilot beam that puts out at the minium of 200mw on the lowes budget i can build one but i have no idea on what parts i need can you guys let me know what i need to get because there is to many thing to look for ,for a BEGINNER!!! basicly i need exactly everything that i need to get ....because buy a laser with those spec are very expencive so i was looking around and i found some good thing but i dont know what else they need ..

so i would rather have you guys tell me exactly what i need so i dont mess this up..PLease Help i want to build this as soon as possible

Welcome to the forum. Using the faq's, stickies, and using the search function will give you the info that you need for a bluray build. As a beginner, you have a few hours of reading ahead of you. You will find all of the answers you need are already in here ready to be looked up.
 
To everyone who i offended i was an asshole i should not have said what i said and iam sorry i was just frustrated,but there is no excuse i hope you can except the i am trully sorry for what i said and i should have not jumped done anyone throught i hope we can move n and put this behind us iam sorry to all and this forum

The search button will be very helpfull, or just look around for threads that put a blu-ray diode in a host. There should be more than enough examples and guides around here.

And I like periods. I. really. like. periods. :) try using them. ;)
 
@ Laserboy123 can you solder ? this is realy a must if you want to assemble your own laser, if you have done none or very little this is where I would suggest you start, practice till you think you got it using plain copper wire then go for a ckt board.

LOL...First you need to find a host that you like and then a heatsink for it jayrob sells a combo of both of them for a very low price... then you need a axixz module and diode... then press it into the axixz module then solder the driver to diode.. then you need to buy batteries and a charger.. i would recommend the lava driver..GOOD LUCK?!

hey yes i can solder ive soider before and ive bine practicing on a cheap bread board but iam going to have jayrob domost of everything for my first build but havent decide on exacty what to do yet .. i will know exactly on Friday the 31......
