Hi LPF my name is remmy black
I have built two lasers so far. My first laser was for a friend to use as a lighter. It had a two diodes wired into one trigger so when it fired both lasers turned on a the same time I housed it in an "klingon disruptor" cause he is a total treky I also wired in a speaker from an old "laser tag" so when it fired it went" pew pew". Unfortionatly he managed to burn out the ir diode so it doesn't work any more.
My second laser was a steam punk modal built out of a 16x blu Ray read/right diode and a o-like driver and that was for me to light fuses with but while I was testing it I bumped the out put up way to hi and fried the diode so now I'm going to replace the diode with a cassio 1w diode. Hopefuly that means I don't have to put nearly as much strain on the diode to light the fuse.
So yeah has my story...oh and I like long walks in the rain and pina coladas!
