HElloz!!! My name is SJP. I have been interested in lasers for many years and have spent many hours on google researching about them...sadly I have neither the money and I'm think I might be too young to work with lasers. I came to this forum to find answers to the many questions I've had. If this forum is only for pros please tell me and I will find a different forum.

It's not only for pros. But, the thing people do want new folks to do, SJP, is make sure they search the forum and read before asking a question. That said, there's nothing wrong with asking questions.
When you say you don't have the money, or might be too young, why do you say that? What sort of things are you looking for in lasers... i.e., what would you like to to do with what sort of laser?

Well yes I'm young ( rather not say)
If there is one thing I want to do it is to build a laser scanner from a low power blue laser for my room. Sadly I can't afford the Galvos or a good laser
but in a few years I might be able too ( sooner if I'm lucky)

Age isn't a factor - maturity is. As long as you can behave sensibly and safely, don't let your age be a limiting factor. We have some pretty young members on here, but it hasn't stopped them. Do your research and learn, and start slowly and build up, if that's what you feel you need to do. Good luck, and enjoy the site!
