Hello everybody, just recently I purchased some supplies to build a 1.7W 445nm laser, so I'm pretty excited to build it. I've been looking on these forums for some time, but haven't posted anything, so it would be fantastic if you guys accepted me into your community. :angel:

This is ground control. Sounds like a good project. What are the components with a little details, host, driver etc. Welcome to the forum.

Here's the details:

Diode: 1.7W 445nm Copper Blue Laser Module W/X-Drive & Three Element Glass Lens from DTR's laser shop (https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/diodes/445-m140-didoes)

Host: Skyray (Skyray Host Kit W/ Heat Sink - $39.00 : Zero Lasers)

Then I also grabbed some 18650's and a charger off Amazon, and two pairs of 445nm safety glasses on eBay.
