Hi all. Wanted to introduce ourselves...Marilyn & Jamal. I, Marilyn, will mainly be the one posting and connecting with you on this forum, but Jamal will also have input and know whats being said. He's the Artist/Mad Scientist/Musician of the couple...I'm the Geek-of-All-Trades...lol. Jamal doesn't participate directly as he's actually quite shy & always busy tinkering with stuff. I'm the one who is a bit more personable...but Jamal is never far away (usually standing over my shoulder getting his two cents worth in). Nice to meet you all. :D:D
 





Thanks guys. Yea, we do have a few irons in the fire..working on a few ideas. And yes, Jamal is the creative artistic genius behind both the host (Sirius1-C) and the DE1 Buck Switching driver that Jordan used in the review. Yarp....dat's us! :)

LOL...I (Marilyn) am "Mo". It started out as the name the kids gave me for when we were Lan Gaming :gun:,,,and then Jamal morphed it into "MoMo". So..Mo is Me! :D

Greetings from San Diego ca , looking into a new hobbie, I wanna start off with a 1w blue laser kit, any takers??
 
Start with something less powerful lol. Once you see something stronger than a dollar store pointer you'll be scared S!$%less at anything even close to 1W. ;)

I suggest you add San Diego to your profile page- we have members close to you-- you may want to be in touch with them- knowing a neighbor with LPM can save you a lot of problems.

and I am confused with 'any takers' do you mean 'any offers'
and since this is Mo's thread asking for a kit from another here is bad manners.

You really need to do some homework- make sure you know all the risks to eyes and check out the tuts- the stickies and reviews. Altered flashlight kits are much cheaper and can be gotten from super easy to somewhat tricky. But if you want something very special Mo has the ticket for that.
And DTR has thankfully posted the steps you will need . Good Luck and welcome to LPF.
