Has anyone tried the new LASER treatment for nail fungus?

I have heard conflicting stories about the laser treatment (if it works or not) So if anyone has had the laser treatment I would sure like to know if it worked for you or not?

It will probably be just short-wavelenght UV to kill the cells.
Not sure why coherent anyway.

I asked a dermatologist about that treatment and he told me that this is no more than a gimmick. He said that there aren't any reliable medical researches indicate this treatment is any good.

I've heard these stories too.. but I still tried laser treatment. But I had the initial stage of nail fungus...maybe that's why it helped me to treat it. But I don't know if it works when the nail fungus is inveterate,old...
