Can i use a ddl driver for an o-like 30mW green module?... i am wanting to be able to turn the power down from 30mW...

yes you can, you just must set the ddl driver to the original driver's current

I think he probably burned that old driver, so he needs new one
maybe he's building a RGB/V laser and he needs to reduce the power of green

I am building a RGV laser and I didnt realise that the one i am building used 10 mW green..

if your lucky, you can turn down a pot on the original driver. beware, going lower than a "treshold" current will probably result in no lasing, fluctuating output, or mode-hopping.
you probably cant simply swap out the original driver with another one. the green's IR diode is case positive, so a "common negative" driver would simply short out your battery until it explodes. no joke.

easiest way would be to filter the green output optically. use something that polarizes (camera filter, cube from sled), you can dim the output from nearly 100% to 0% by rotating the thing in the beam. with 10mw original output, thats no big factor for battery-runtime (if batteries at all) neither.
