Hi all, before I begin; Three member's I need to thank for this project.
Tmack - His GITD ms-ssw inspired me, I knew that I had to have one like that so I asked him for instructions. He replied quickly with clear and simple instructions!
sinner - For making this wonderful MS-V4 host. I love it!
Mrcrouse - When I got the MS-V4 host I thought that the focus knob was too plain(It wasn't bad just looking for something that I could GITD) I then realized that I had Mrcrouse's Assault knobs laying around and voila!
Thanks you three this wouldn't have been possible without you :thanks:

Awe man. Very very nice. Love the square pattern. Turned out great! Happy to help. Are you going to do your stubby too?
 
Very cool. The grooves on the ms ssw are much thinner and pose more of a challenge to get an even glow, but after this project, I'm sure you will have no problem. Two tone glow would be great as well. That green probably glows for a long time too. I just ordered some green and it came today. I'm going to have to do some work I see!
 
Yeah on amazon ppl say that the green is the best and brightest! Can't wait to try some GITD magic on my stubby!:)

My focus adapter glows as soon as I hit the button. And I have a little surprise way to charge it,,,,, a good friend has it in the works!!!!!
 
Awesome stuff herunotsurugi.. serious amount of time and gitd powder to say the least :beer: I like the blue+aqua combination idea!

@Tmack you have started the trend, I should get a few ounces to try..
 
This is way too difficult for any mere mortal. My services are available upon request ;) totally kidding. With a little patience, anyone can do it.

Haha I'm sure people will love to have that option available for their ms's if you were to start doing it. You'll see its not as hard as it looks

That epoxy is so strong. It's not going anywhere. Feels like part of the aluminum when it dries. And the glow should last as well. Because its photo reactive it shouldn't loose any of its glowing properties over time. I know mine isn't old by any means but it hasn't lost any of its brightness.
 
No wonder that focus adapter is called an "assault" knob lol. That thing is BRUTAL. I wonder how the GITD epoxy effects heat in regards to the "Cooling Fins" Otherwise, it looks awesome, keep up the work :P
