This is a custom host that I build with a custom beam expander. It has a m140 diode and a driver set to 1750mA the laser runs on two 18650 batteries. The host has a switch in back for safety and a side momentary switch. The host is 13" long.
The beam that comes out is 1.25" x 1.75" dia, kind of oval shaped. Very nice in person, pictures don't do justice.

SOLD 190.00 OBO shipped.
International buyers please pm me.

Nice laser, I like how the diode isn't buried deep inside a Aixiz type of holder so none of the beam is cut off by it. Also, having easy access to the driver is nice.

Greetings,

Very nice looking host !
Can't wait to see the one you are making me with the expander I sent you.
I just wish it employed a different method for adjusting it, something like the one on this host...
Was also curios about the expander on that host, 8x, or 10x or what size ?
Will make a fine addition to someones collection !!!

cheers,
Moe

If I knew the emitter size of the M140 diode, I could calculate it for you but try as I may searching for a long time, I'm not finding that information anywhere.

Well we know the G2 collects all the emitters light and the G2 has a 2.39mm rear focal length.

So if we know the magnification power of the G2 then we can calculate the distance based on the divergence that it will produce an exact picture of the emitter and at twice that distance it will be twice as wide and twice as long making it easier to measure.

Then verify be measuring at 4 times the distance to eliminate the emitter to glass window distance....or we could cut one of my duds open.

edit: WOW it's tiny.
