- Housing is actually BLUE. This is what it looks like in normal lighting
here
- There's glycerin in the air which makes the beam more visible.
So, regarding beam specs, divergence, etc - I don't know - and it's probably fairly normal not to know that info off hand for 405, 445 and 660nm lasers. These diode lasers have pretty common standard well-known beam specs. So for example, you wouldn't expect any of the 445s for sale here to have different beams, because they're all the exact same diode, from the same source. What CAN be different is the lens. Having said that, 95% of the 445s you see for sale here will use a standard Aixiz glass coated lens (including this one). There are a few upgraded lenses that give power increases, but they're 5x the price of standard Aixiz glass, so again, not as common on final fully built lasers.
However, ALL THREE lasers are focusable, so you can adjust the focal point for up close, distance, etc. I can't stress this enough though - the beam specs are pretty standard across lasers on this forum. Exceptions based on the lens are usually explicitly noted, and are less common.
Regarding the S3 Arctic - the 445 for sale here is more powerful, by perhaps more than 50%. Even the 405 for sale approaches what I understand the Arctic's power to be (something like 750 or 800mW?).
