From 2 x AAA dx30 to 1 cr123 electrical tape host

if you ask me "why" ,,, because its the only pointer that i have now ( im waiting a few more ) and i just want a realy portatable small laser
the pen style didt like it,,, and the fuking switch died at the 2nd week, so i had to cut the barrel in 2 to remplace the swich and solder it back,,, it was a disaster, so i complety destoy the pen style and star thinking in something smaller

i bough 1 cr123 to test the laser, and it was completly diferent from the 2 x aaa rechargable, much better with the cr123, so i decided to make a new hosto for this dx30

on monay i will get a nice aluminun pipe to do this in a nice way,,, but just to test the size i made an electrical tape host

i love the mose switch it never make a fake contact like other switchs

i will place all this inside a nice aluminun body, next week more pictures
ahh,,, if you check the lens,,, there is a white spot,,, i damadge the lens when i try to change the focus ( its fuking glue! )
is there any way to remplace the lens ? its the same size as the axiz lens ?
the laser its working,,, but i have a smal realllly anoing glow arround the beam

yeah, it a litle bit wider,,, but it seems much smaler when you have it on your hands
the problem it that the back swith its not confortable ar all, and i dont want to use the regular switch,, im stil trying to sove the problem of where im going to place the mose shitch in the barrel
i think it will be

cr123 -> swichar 90º -> barrel + driver over the top

Am I correct in stating the fact that it's never OK to solder to a battery as this will essentially kill it?

You can buy a laser that looks almost like what you made, with a tail clicky switch from Kaidomain. SKU # S003304 - 50mW Green Laser for $27.48. DX has a similar one also, but I think the one from DX is only 30MW's. rob/phoenix77
