Hey guys, i thought i'd get over the ebayser phase and invest a higher quality laser that can burn

i was thinking of the 15mW executive along with the caps set to feed my burning addiction. so the total would come to $139.99 not including shipping

what would you guys recommend?

i have about 170 dollars in paypal ready to go.

if any of you have have lasers that you're willing to get rid of pm me

i'd also be happy to get you guys wicked laser bucks

discount for me and profit for you!

I sugest Nova lasers, Much cheaper prices and less RMA's! And also try building a high powered red, it's pretty easy and cheap to make one.
 
hm, are the novas any better than the wickeds?

and also if applicable

does anyone have an account i can contribute nova/wicked bucks to so i can benefit some kind of discount?

and also what would you guys recomment for something to satisfy a burning hobby for a reasonable price?

and i hear alot about those cheap DX lasers

i saw a 150mW for only 110, no ir filter though

would that mean i'd have to wear some sort of eye protection?

would you guys recommend the nova laser or the lasers at xtremedeals?

either way, looks like wicked lasers are out of the question
 
yes Greg has remined us time and time again they come with ir filters but yeah i would go with nova they give out a 85+mW laser for the same price so its a good deal but then you need to invest in laser goggles.
 
NOVA definitely on that budget - now, keep in mind that they do not accept pay-pal - but they do give forum members a 5% discount !

nevermind, i found a loophole

i forgot i had a paypal debit card

it acts as a mastercard but it ultimately charges the payment indirectly from my paypal account

and i also found out i have 227 in my paypal!

what would you guys recommend at that budget?

i thought i'd like to try one of those crystals to see an interesting effect


and also, what is so different about the x85 model and the x105 other than the power output.

is it more visible? burns faster? brighter?

X-105 will be slightly brighter and will burn faster. 227 bucks go for the x-85 and i dont know how much exaclty the 85 costs but you will be close to having enough left over for goggles i htink.

Well it's a bit late at night. Welcome, though. You will probably have to change your signature due to the profanity, but welcome again!
 
I'd recommend NOVAlasers as well, but if you absolutely insist on buying from Wicked, then I'd get the "Advanced" model. It's supposed to output 35 mW, but the one I won from a contest on another forum output around 75 mW.
 
aah, i alrdy bought a x85, everyone seems to look on wicked lasers

i just thought i got a better deal from nova. i hope this thing doesn't disappoint.

oh, and i will change my sognature accordingly. if it offends anyone please send me a pm.
