Hey guys! Joe here!
So I'm here with my first handheld build! You may have seen my other builds: First being the Nintendo Joy-Stick, And second my bored/lazy beer box build!
I got the Survival laser S4 DIY kit. I wanted to use this host for my m-140, but for a 'practice build' I Started with a 650nm build. I got the fixed current 220mA driver from survival laser. I wanted to re-solder some silicone insulated wires from "flaminpyro" but they were already installed.
So this first picture is the survival laser 220mA driver with the recomended dab of epoxy to keep it from shorting against the brass ring. next to it is a 1.25amp without the epoxy yet. I think, for I don't remember on this picture
Here is the assembly going together. Just be careful not to twist the wires while going together. That is a green aluminum heatsink from SL
