But there is a few problems. If i buy safety goggles, he wont use them, i can pretty much guarantee that.
next: I dont live at home, so lending it would just be mean ..considering im only home a few times monthly.
I guess a 10 mw couldnt hurt too much, but if its 30 - 50 he could go blind -.- and with no IR filter. Could get rather messy >_<.
It has been said many times. Lasers are not toys. Save this one for a friend and buy him a 5mW from focalprice wich is not overpowered I think. Or give it to your mom and explain her what the danger is so the kid can only use it with her.
I would do the last one.
Please give the 10mw to a responsible adult and buy him a 5mw green. The IR pump is just dangerous and unpredictable. If it spikes he definitely could get a serious eye injury or do it to someone else by mistake.
