So i know a driver for a laser diode gives the diode a CC which makes the diode happy..

How how the hell can i get the driver?.. Am pretty sure i can't get it.. So how can i make it?

I need some weird parts.. And i have no hell of an idea were to get those part.. But i know one thing. I have 2 old computer power supplies.. Which are full of those parts. So which parts of those 2 old computer power supply do i need to take off the power supply to make my lovely driver???!!!

Note. Some people told me batteries depend on the driver.. So here are the batteries i am going to be using

2 double A 2300 MAH Rechargeable energizer batteries.. As a power source.. So which parts do i need. Pictures too please..

Good luck finding the parts necessary to drive an LPC diode (the type of diode you have) using only scrap parts from a computer PSU. From what I know, there aren't any low specialty CC parts on those boards that would help you.

Further, for a LPC diode, you are going to need at least 6V for your basic LM317-type driver. That means you need 4 batteries, not two. Once you have those batteries, you can go to a local RadioShack store and pick up a few 10uF capacitors, several 10 Ohm resistors, and an LM317T. That should be all you need and it shouldn't run you more than $10.
 
Get 3 of the 10 ohm resistors, one LM317T, and two capacitors. A 1N400X diode is optional for reverse polarity protection.
 
The three resistors you want (10 Ohms) yields 3.33 Ohms in parallel which will give you 375mA, a good current value for an LPC diode. The two capacitors are one for input and one for output, just for added stability. You really don't need any capacitors, though. Just optional.
 
Can always use 5 ohms in each resistor for 10 in 2 only?? and i will go with 1 capacitor.. tho. Thanks alot!
 
Naw, I would use three so that you get better power dissipation.

tomorrow is the big day.. Were all what i drew on paper shall turn to reality..

I will buy everything tomorrow.. BUT the laser diode and the safety goggles.. Tho mum won't let me get the diode unless i first get the goggles.. haha.. Which will give me more time to think of a replacement to the aixiz module thingy..

Its not possible to make a DIY laser pointer without a diode module / housing with acrylic lens. It costs $3 at most.. why do you want to skip this?
 
I can't get my hand on a aixiz module.. So i want a replacement for that.. Something i could make lol.. And am ready not to pay 3 $ for that buy to pay 30 $ for that -_-
