hi team

i have promoted dave to the moderator role. i think he and simon will make a great team. congrats to dave!

later this week i would like to add Things as a moderator as well; however, i have not been able to reach him via email (it bounced back). if anyone else can reach him plz ask him to email me


my end goal is to have the LPF members happy , relaxed, and enjoying having a good time talking about lasers. if for any reason (which i doubt will happen very often) a member has a concern with a moderation decision (or lack thereof, e.g. not doing something) , please email me atarasov atttttt hushmail.com

if anyone has an opinion about a moderation decision, you have the right to *respectfully* address the issue in a public thread, PM, or via email.

we have strong freedom of speech here as always, as u all know i am incredibly liberal and laid back most of the time=) i am very honored to have dave as a mod and i think he and simon will make a great team!!

and like i said before i would like to add a 3rd mod (Things) and maybe a 4th even, for maybe just the 'other' section of the forum or something.

I think prototype should be considered as some sort of mod, he is always on laserchat and is very levelheaded. Not to mention we see some crazy stuff on laserchat sometimes that escalate to cause problems on the forum, and Proto is really good about considering both sides to a disagreement.
