I came up with a DIY idea for a driver heatsink. I started out with this -
It's a copper reduction bushing for plumbing. I picked one up at the hardware store for a buck or two.
After some quality time with the hacksaw and a fracking big hammer, I got this -
33 grams of delicious copper. This will get cut down further and glued onto a FlexDrive. Should be enough material there for a few cheap heatsinks.
