Red and violet are focusable .. which is a must for burning. 405 will get a bit better focus. But the green is much more visible. On the other hand, while 405 and red are most probably be on specs, as they are direct diode lasers, green has high chance to be underspecs, as DPSS lasers often are.
405 is about half as bright as red, which is again about half as bright as green .. but they are all same dangerous to the eye (yours or else). For 405 the protection goggles are red, or even yellow .. which limits sight just a bit. For red, the goggles are usually dark blue, and it's pretty hard to see anything in them.
So I guess go for 405. But get that goggles ..

Thankyou for your answer. I will but the 405 tonight, also where can I get the cheapest goggles for it? :san:

I see your red dots multiplying, so I only say one word: search

harbor freight sells glasses for 1.99 not sure about their protection ability but since there yellow they will block some part of the 405nm wavelength

Problem is 'some part' is not enough .. you must very well know how big part. Anyway even cheap goggles can be good, and I guess this guy wont go for certified goggles with prices over $50 anyway.

well as long as he doesnt get a direct hit he should be fine besides alot of those lasers like that are wayyy underspec anyway i mean it realy depends how much value he put on his eyesight

You DO need goggles and no it does not matter these lasers have no IR. And trust me, 200mW diode lasers are usually on specs, as it is actually rather hard to make them otherwise.

yea i saw that i think it was a unanimous decision that it was a scam of some sort

ha, cought u, u told me in your pm's the e3 wicked lasers could pop ballooons across the room, and light matches at a metre, and now you say it cant burn. good thing i didnt buy, your a defo scammer

By burn I mean it couldn't burn holes through a DVD Case, or engrave on plastic, whereas a focusable 200mw can. Please don't call me a scammer as I have already sold it to a member and he should receive it in 1 - 2 days. :na::na::na::angel::angel::angel::crackup::crackup:

lol no need to cracckup. its not even that funny. you sold your laser to a member here, woooww, how funny
