I think I should have specified that I made it, the case and coolant I purchased straight from alienware.

But I have my ways of rolling up the dough.

Possible, sure. Legal, I really don't think so. I'm almost positive you have to work for apple to do apple hardmods legally.

Re: Computer Specs thread

Wow, Th0ughts... that's insanity.

Mine was a high end system a couple years ago, but is pretty mediocre by today's standards...

Asus A8N-32-SLI Deluxe Mobo
Athlon 64 FX-60 @3ghz (completely stable on stock air cooling!)
2x 1gb OCZ Platinum ddr400 @ 2-2-2-5 timings
Radeon HD3870
6x 500gb seagate harddrives in RAID-5 array
LSI MegaRAID 8308E PCI-E 8-SATA-Port hardware RAID card w/ 256mb battery backed ECC DDR cache
Thermaltake XRAY Cigarette Lighter
USB Lava Lamp
Housed in a 4u rack mount server case with room for 13 harddrives.

19" LG LCD, 22" ViewSonic LCD, 15" Dell LCD rotated portrait, all have the same vertical height so they make one (nearly) seamless desktop.
