I have been moving right along with building my lasers with the tail cap push button switches but have a small host which requires a switch on the side. For components right now i am ready to build my next 6x blue\violet which includes a 6x diode, flexdrive and axis housing. The driver i took out of my host has a switch across the board and am wondering if it is possible to do this with the flexdrive. This is a case positive host.

Thanks, Skylight

On the flexdrive, the negative terminals of the battery input and laser diode connection are continuous, so you'll need to determine what the case on your diode is to ensure the switch is safe.

Otherwise, just make sure the switching occurs at the battery input.
