Best Host for a 405 build?

I'm looking to build a 405 build and I am looking into some hosts. I was going to go with the stainless survivallaser build, but that host looks kind of "eh". I want a really cool host. Do you guys have any suggestions?

The Phobos host is great for a 12x IMO. I'm working on one right now, exept I need a different driver as the benboost I bought is killing diodes.

I have a 445 laser right now, in a jayrob Maglite w/ a p3 driver at 1.75A. I want something a LOT smaller lol. Those suggestions look cool. I am on the waiting list for a magicstickv2 sometime soon so I'm excited for that as well. These 12x diodes have been out for a while now, are there any more powerful 405 diodes coming out soon?

Jayrob is the master of small hosts. I'm sure he will be able to set you up with something tiny if you like.

Depends on the driver and how small you want your host.

What current can I get without doing 2 batteries or a boost driver? (with any driver)

Microboost are available again if you want to do a small build with single cell.

OR

look around at DX and find something that appeals to you. These days there are lots of great machinist here that can fab you up a custom heatsink.

What about a phobos? If you go for the single battery 16340 size its not too big and would be the same price as a flashlight and custom heatsink! I actually prefer the 18650 phobos which is a bit more, but you can get 2 16340s or 1 18650 for diff driver options...eudaimonium:beer:
