So... my journey tracking down a Spyder III 473nm went sour, so back to square one...

Anyone's opinions on where to get a nice 473nm handheld? I'm thinking that the JetLasers GB option is appealing, anyone yay or nay? I've seen the two reviews on the JL PL-E Pro 473nm's, they are very positive. Opinions appreciated, thanks so much!

EDIT: Oh and btw... 473rd post

Thanks, I didn't see your review the first time I landed on Speedy's thread! :p sorry about that

For the price you can't beat it. I got mine and it is being shipped to me now. Measures in at 100mW!!!

Thanks for the advice guys, looks like I'm jumping in on JL too

I've got a CNI 473nm. Sold as 80mW, peaks at 120mW.
Never heard a bad thing about jetlasers though.

Beam specs on CNI's will be amazing from the 589nm and 561nm I have. Maybe 1.1mRad?

I can't give specs on mine (haven't ran the numbers yet) but the beam is insanely tight.

I was looking at both the CNI 473 and the JL 473 and ended up picking the JL for a couple reasons:

- Warranty JL 1 year, CNI 6 months.

- CNIs' PL-III-C host (what my 589 uses) is nice and hefty but the PL-E Pro from JL is a sexy beast.

- The service provided by Gray was top notch. Emails were answered within 12 hours which is awesome considering the time difference. In fairness I've never contacted CNI directly so I can't give a direct comparison.

- Price. To get one in the same guaranteed power range, 10-30mw would have cost $75 more in the recent CNI GB.

Honestly whichever company you buy from you'll end up with one helluva sweet laser.

My Jetlasers 473nm that meters at 100mW was 320 dollars and shoild be delivered tomorrow! Find me another company that would match that price! I dare ya!
