Has anyone got anamorphic prisms or cylindrical lenses built into a 445 build, portable or lab style? I'm about to buy Dr. Lava's cylindrical lens pair and intend to mount them permanently in a lab build.

I'll post pictures when I get it working, can others post any pictures of improvements to beam profile of their 445s through whatever method you've tried?

I ordered a set a few weeks ago, and have not gotten them yet. I suppose he is waiting for so many orders since originally it was a group buy.

School is still out on this topic...Cylindrical lens or Anamorphic Prisms. Now people ( including myself ) are experimenting with two (2) sets of prisms vs one (1) set....which further complicates this issue.

The Dr.Lava Cylindrical lens have not shipped yet. IMNSHO....I think one set of Anamprphic Prisms really shapes this beam in a VERY,VERY complete fashion.....for pointer application...but for show projector graphics....more optic shaping might be desired.

What about rotating one of the lens ? That should expand the ray a bit.
