idk if this should be in this form or the displays form but let me tell ya for all of you who havent built the 2 miror on 2 moter set up you should it makes an awsome display and with my 200mw dx on the power surce and fan it looks thtat good in the day time and at night if you just have one going on the tunnle effect looks alwaosm with just the dust in thei air. plus you can make it expain and contrat it looks freaking cool kinda like a real laser show :P but anway ya if you have just a laser i shujset you make you one lol it adds usese to your usless green laser :P
 





going to try to get my firends camra again monday. but when i do it looks great hopefully its quick enouf for the camra to pick up all of it and not just parts
 
ya i remember when i made one of these, but i used a 1mw red LOL ;D ;D ;D i didn't even know about greenies then!
 
Yeah wait till you setup 3 mirrors on 3 motors and then control each individual motor with a potentiometer. Now that is cool. ;)
 
is it? well i like mine the way it is so i would have to finde 3 new motors and 3 new mirrors. anways i was wonderihng how many rules would i be breaking if i used thing in publick?
 
well i just got my firends camra and here is the laser show with the music that some what goes to it : ) and the long waite halfway through the moveie is me fliping over the battrie : )

u think a 6 min laser show is bad on the dx200? i have my lil set up on it still with the fan and evey thing but i was trying to puls it enough to hopefully i didnt caus to much dammage. wonder how bad it was for it

Way to go man, I enjoyed that show.

I never pulsed my Gas laser projector so I found out what I'd been missing.

You did a great job on the RPM's and you reversed the motor for the second showhalf.
Don't U love those pointy stars, and stationary lines  ;D

Idea:
Use two same lasers back and forth 50/50 to solve duty(overheat) prob..
Got skinny FS mirrors and a glass cutter? Cut in a 2nd beam par. w/the 1st.

Did I see some beam-splatter from mode hop?

Very nice, lots of variation in patterns. Would I be guessing correctly that it is portable as you were asking about using it in public? I have no clue on the legatiies of using it though.

Nice effects. Did you use a homemade thing like mirrors and motors? If you did how did you do that spiral effect?
 
yes lol the pulsing does some pritty cool tricks and to think i was only doing it caus i was tring to keep some type of a duty cycle. yes it is portalbe here is a pic well its at the bottome but ya. for my next thing i am going to get a lot of old harddrives and cddrives from my CAD teacher (use to be an ex engener for NASA and TI) so i am going to try a 3 and 4 mirror system :P also sicne i am in his cad class i askd if we could make a reall laser projecter in their u kno the type you can write with and suff and he said shure :) so i may be making one of thos soon to : ))). anways the spiral effect i am guessuing you mean the cicle that getss bigger then smaller then bigger agian? that i sjust with the first mirro moter maxxd out and the other one about 1/2 speed. and the set up you see the orage tnt type stick on the bottom that is a 10.5V battrie and the other primary mirror moter is ran off a cr123 battrie. the primary motar is the slide part of a cd pler and the 2nddar is the actual cd moter and man does it make some noise when its maxd out at 10v : ) lol and the adjusters are from an old stero system their the volum nobs. but yes it is protable tho it weights about 5 pounds becaus of all the battries. an no my laser does not mode hop that was just a missing part on the mirror. (their really crapy they have hols in the reflective part in the back lol not bad for being slapd togheter) and while i was asking aobut the legal issures is becaus i shod my teacher and some kids at school and lol they want me to do it in the black out peperally. so ya was wondering if that may be ok and what ll i would have to do. their going to put black paper on the wall so their will be no abstract reflections.

but anways thank you for the compliments

Yea is mirrors mt. perpendicular to the motor shaft.

When both motor are same speed, you'll get a circle or a line depending on one of 2 motors rot. cw or cww.

Build one, bring to class and see if they let U light up a smoke [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

lnsist how the smoke makes the beams show up so cool. (nasty habit I quit)

Buy mirrors from Edmund Scientific or call around to electronic surplus places.

cant do it on the celling of the gym wont bee as good plsu its to high up. their is a back wall that no body stis on evey body is on the other side so were planning on just putting black paper over the bricks so hopefully it will keep reflections from happening : ) also hopfeully today i can build a 3 or 4 moter system : ) but ya deffently need some better mirrors
