A laser for my gun?

since recoil is not an issue, any cheap sight on ebay will work just fine.

Sorry i made this very quickly and i was in a rush. It is an airsoft gun, here is the link to it so you can get a better idea of what it looks like.
Echo 1 - Echo 1 Barrett Rec 7 Airsoft Gun

Muzzle Velocity: 390Fps

Not bad, that's around what my real Walter P22 (.22) does with subsonic ammo in it. It's the one gun I actually have a laser on. It's the factory one that slides right onto the rail in front of the trigger guard. It's only a 650/660, but I like the fact that it has little leds on the back side that provide so low level light to the trigger area.

But yeah, I wouldn't think finding something for an airsoft would be too hard. It will see much less abuse so as TW said, just about anything you can find should work pretty well.

It says 390, but when i went to a local airsoft field, it came in at about 430.

Even better. I actually bought my first airsoft gun over the weekend. I've only shot a few rounds through it so far. No idea at what speed yet. Just an entry level gun I think. Crosman TAC R71 @ Walmart. Far from the high end stuff. :)

sorry if i sound stupid, but wouldnt it be ok to duct tape a cheap ebay greenie to wherever you want the laser?

~ adjusting the dot to match point of impact would be challenging. how would you lock it down so it wouldn't shift with use?
~ turning it on and off while shooting would be less than ergonometric
~ it would look kind of ghetto.
