Hey everybody! [SOLD]

650nm LCC Red Laser in Jayrob Polished Aurora SH-032 Host For Sale!

I just got my GGW Sled LLC Diode from Flaminpyro today! After drooling over the idea of making another laser, I proceeded to make the laser!

Here are the prices if you are interested in buying..
-Jayrob SS 18650
-LLC Hi-Power Red Diode
-Flexdrive V5 set at 400mA
-650-G-1 Lens $55 or AixiZ Plastic Lens $1
-Copper Heatsink
-AW 18650 Protected 2900 mAh Battery (optional) $20
+Shipping and PP Fees

Total w/ AixiZ Acrylic Lens: $101
Total w/ 650-G-1: $155
(not including battery or shipping)

Edit: This laser peaked at 262mW when running the Flexdrive at 400mA... if you want me to change the current of the Flexdrive when you buy it than I can definitely do that for you, but the diode won't last long above 450mA.


The Build​

The first thing I did was pressfit the diode in an Aixiz Module and solder on some silicone leads. Then I proceeded to set the Flexdrive V5 to 400mA with my Super 3A Test Load. Next I soldered my battery leads and leads from the diode to the Flexdrive, secured the AixiZ module inside of the copper heatsink (yes I know its :horse:, but why not!) and secured the whole thing inside of the head of the host. After all that was done, I screwed the lens into the EzFocus adapter, screwed it into the head and I was done! Enjoy the pics... :D

Superb build.

Jayrobs work on those hosts are exemplory.

Looks like you made it to the right section:p

I really do love these hosts, just the look and feel. Plus with the copper heatsink you can basically not worry about duty cycle much.

Shiny things also sell better for some reason, don't know why:D
 
Yep it looks like I did :) thanks Daguin! Hopefully it will sell soon as I need the money to complete my Trinity build...
 
With that heatsinking you should bump the current to at least 420mA :)
It will last for a loooong time :)

Maybe I will if I get some time... Do you think it will sell faster if I bump up the current because its just not selling right now!

Check with post office... should be <$35. ( I can't see shipping being more expensive to UK than it is to China.)
