I just recieved a 5mW 650nm laser pointer that I ordered from ebay. When I put soe batteries in it a tried it out I realised something was wrong. The divergence is horrible. The "dot" is in the shape of an eye, with a diameter that is 2cm at about half a meter.
What I am wondering is if there is anything I can do to repair it, or if it's a lost cause. If that's the case I'll just return it to the seller.
