Hello, I am very new to the hobby of assembling lasers but I do have experience with high power laser beams. I have been looking on eBay and on some laser forums for some time now and I'm still not exactly sure how to power my diode. I bought a 5.5W 3A nichia 450nm blue laser diode and a good heat sink but I am not very skilled with circuits and I don't really understand how to power the laser. I know that it would be pretty easy to build my own driver, but I don't have a good enough understanding to design a driver circuit myself. I am willing to purchase dedicated circuit board but it would be much cheaper to build my own, hence why I am interested in the circuit diagram. If anyone knows a place where I can buy a laser driver circuit that would fit the criteria or has more knowledge on laser driver circuits, I would greatly appreciate feedback. Thanks.

Everything can be found online, you only need to look.

Here is the circuit to my JLB5A 4.2v input, 2-5A output constant current boost driver.
You can also purchase it on my store if building it becomes too much of a hassle. It comes in a few sizes, I even have a larger naked PCB prototype if you'd like one
