2AA maglite with driver

Hi there.
just finished my maglite with a amc7135 350ma  driver.

Wow you must like them AMCs ;D  and there is a output capacitor? only one in five work with a diode.

ordered a pack of the 350ma from dx so I can also mod them adding chips so had to try them out.
one great thing about the maglite is its got great anodizing dont need to isolate heatsink so no shorting as amc7135 is a negative regulator and as red is case negative.
measured continuity a couple of times between axis and head and no shorting.
since its all glued up an all actually did put a cap just in case.one just like this one in my little blu based on same chip.
