200 DX red Heat probs

My DX 200 burns stuff pretty well, but the heat on the driver is really bothering me. With fully charged CR2s, the driver gets too hot to touch. It takes about 280-290 mA, no matter what the voltage is. Will I blow the driver?

If its lasted this long it will probably be OK.
