HI all,

making good use of my BF's camera while he's down this weekend

The light late this afternoon looked just right for getting some nice beamshots of my big 445, and since in the house it just drowns out all other lasers I took the opportunity.

I only managed to get 3 worth posting, but here they are:

Focus seems to have been missed slightly on these, we are still trying to decide whether the camera is backfocussing or something else is involved.

The camera seems to be focusing on the spot with the most things to capture. The background has much more going on than just the laser and beam.

I had set the spot focus point to the legs of the laser tripod but it's possibly larger than it appears on the viewfinder and decided to focus on the background.

I got out of the loop with photography and haven't done it proper in about a year, so I am having to re-remember a lot of what I learned.
