1,000,000th Post LPF Edition Laser?

I know we started talking about it in the other thread, and I think we should start a group buy for the millionth post engraved lasers from laserglow. It'd be something that members could participate in and essentially take their own piece of LPF history home. Just and idea! Post your thoughts

I remember talking to 2007Revolution about this. Basically, we came to a conclusion that the Lyra pointer is overall the best deal since it isn't too expensive & looks absolutely stunning!!!

I sadly can't participate since I am completely low on funds and don't have any cash to spare for a new laser for awhile

I agree that'd be an excellent candidate for engraving.

ARG: :crackup: if you say so, but you could have both this and the ten year anniversary pointer!

I'd rather it be the Libra to be honest. Better cost for essentially a novelty item, no duty cycle, no DPSS fragility, and hell; red pointers is where we started at all those years ago!

10yr would be more meaningful, but that's still a few years out sadly.

Another idea that was thrown around was instead of a complete laser we could do the GB for a C6 host.

Maybe get one of the host makers on the forum to make a limited run of gold anodized and engraved C6s.

Would keep costs down and also allow people to make whatever laser they wanted in it.

This sounds a better idea for us in the Land Of OZ. Several years ago the Wicked Witch banished laser pointers over 1mW from entering the Kingdom. But an empty Gold Tinman could travel the seas and be granted entry to the land!
