    can we not DIY a photonic distruptor?

    pulsed means the laser is turning on and off many times per second, the reason this is done is that the diode normaly "peaks" when it's first turned on, then goes down to its average, so with pulsed the laser is always operating at it's peak power or near it. I'm not sure i'm 100% correct so...

    he was what.. 13? i'm 11 and I wouldnt point my galileo anywhere NEAR a plane/helicopter. but I agree with the above comment entirely except for one thing: not all children are that stupid really.

    what are 5mW's like regarding beam visibility? I have only seen photos, and some cameras pick up the beam better than your eye, I know the beam will only be visible at night.
