    well on one of the nasa missions, they set up laser mirrors to guage the distance of the moon accurately, i think they are on the "sea of tranquility".

    ;D good idea! apparently thare are mirrors on the moon (man-made of course!) and if you shine a powerfull laser at that part of the moon at the right time and look in a tellescope, you will see it bounce back! MUHAHAHAHA!

    How many lasers do you have?

    i only have a 5mw greenie and millions of cheap ones ripped appart, but i also see a broken DVD RW and a diode housing! ;D  muhahaahaa!

    im rather new to lasers and this site and i bet people ask this all the time! but i am making a DVD laser pointer and i am planning on using two AAs to power it (i may decide on it being rechargeable) i would like the diode to last a long time but also give a fair bit of power! i was wondering...
