Thanks for all the help jay, i put my blu-ray pocket pal together. Sadly i destroyed my LOC diode (too hot soldering, pin came loose) so no red pocketpal yet :( Check the beam in the video :)

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits I just received a package also from OH, to the Netherlands, (should be about the same distance) and that took 9 days to arrive. So i guess yours should arrive any moment. My flexdrives were sent on the 26th so i guess it will arrive soonish.

I got 2 focussing modules, one from DX , and one from Drew: left=drew, right=DX Which should i use for bluray and which one for red? I will be replacing the lens for the red one.

yeah well as i've read here on the forum it's never sure because they are uncertified, i will just have to test them with my camera how much light gets through. Luckily these don't emit IR tho.

Will be building a red laser from the LPC 815 sled. So i ordered the zonestealth 650nm goggles (laser2go), and they have OD4+ from 635 - 650. So i read somewhere that these diodes can even emit up to 660nm. Running at 400mA, will this be a problem?

Great :) Edit: I got my hosts from the local reseller and luckily they are both SKU 46 type! but MAN.. they are small. Suddenly i am not so sure about the 400mA long open can red idea.. Edit2: Got the DX aixiz module, it seems like its a good one, lens nut is not glued and no threading is...

I guess thats the best solution then, pushing it all the way in. Might get a little better heat dissipation too? Anyway, are my heatsinks en route? :P I found a local reseller for the sku 46 hosts, so i now have bigger chance at least one of those pairs will be the real deal. Drews sleds are on...

Thanks man, i just sent money for the heatsinks before i read your post and i allready ordered an aixix from DX and one from Drew. Tho i'm not sure Drews are aixiz modules. Is modding the focus ring easy? i maybe could try to do it myself..

I can't be sure, i'll have to wait till they arrive or i have to take the plunge. Also the description on DX is exactly the same... I have Aixiz modules and i ordered some glass lenses from ebay. The red burning laser should peform better with glass right? Also, i heard the blue beam from a PHR...
