    Need some help.

You are probably right it isn't the greatest idea for a higher powered laser. I would still love to do it even if it was only on a 5mw. EDIT: oh yeah, last night before I fell asleep I was reading exactly what you are saying about the capacitive touch sensors. Actually i found several different...

    Need some help.

have not been around these forums for at least a couple of years. Anyway, I remember reading about a project this college student did where he basically built a touch sensor onto his laser so that there were not moving parts on it. It used some really low voltage jfet or something like that. The...

    Help with lasers

rocket either of those should work the laser (i believe) is 650nm. maybe other lasers you plan on getting would influence your buy if you are going to deal with something closer to IR the get the second pair.. or if you are going to get a 635(orangish) then you would probably want the first

    Help with lasers

no one seems to be mentioning the dealextreme 200mw red laser... anyway i think it would be a better experience for you to build your own anyway. however, with a 200mw laser i would suggest you buy a pair of safety glasses so you don't hurt your eyes looking at the dot. the goggles alone will...
