I can see how it looks like a tube with just light, but at dark (like the bottom pic), it can sure look like its just a plain "beam". Ehh, this is probably the closest it gets to an actual "Star Wars LightSaber".

These awesome LaserSabers are powered by laser pointers! They are easy to take apart and switch the laser that is being used so that you can have a green lasersaber, a red lasersaber, blue lasersaber, etc. Some of you may already know about these, but I thought I should share this with...

Current I only have a 30mW True Green from DX, and a very nice 5mW red that I got from a store a couple years ago.
