Hi All, i have a ALC 60 Argon laser and need a psu, can any1 advise me where i can buy one? or how else can i get the laser powered?

i was wondering what is the simplest way to combine bly ray beam and green together? after reading some posts i get the idea that the pbs cube inside the phr sled is ok for the job? what about the cube from the LPC? would any PBS cube from either dvdr or cdr be the same for the job or they all...

lol now im even more lost, using mitches diy guide the possitive is connected to the case pin? "wannaburn" can i reverse your example and will that work? the only reason for this is because the green wish pointer hosts dont usually have good contact with the 10440 batteries if the nagative end...

im still a bit confussed here... i basicly want to do the exactly the same thing here but using a red diode.... http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1214277097/0#0 will this work with the red diode instead or not? and yes i realise that the pins on the red diode are different...

i asked about this once already, but Snoctony has sent me a link to someone in Europe who makes all sorts of micro drivers for different laser types and currents, waiting on pricing now...

i guess thats good... if the crystals were a bit less than id gladly try it, cause the 1w diode is fairly cheap, the only problem would be finding a driver for this... rckstr only does 420ma and this diode would require around 1200ma... if some1 here knows were to find a pen size driver for this...

last time i asked him using a 1w 808 pump diode the actual blue output would have been only around 20mW, i could be wrong on those figures cause it has been a while, and i was also shocked that using all that pump power gives out so little blue power in the end

Hi All, just one really quick question, i know the phr diode has a case pin in the middle and can be used as a case possitive or negative, but what about a red diode? the last pin, what is it for ? can it also be used as a case pin the same way as the phr? And what is the theory behing...

for 1, and 2 i run 2x 10440 3.6v x2 = 7.2v and for 3, and 4 i use 2x AA or AAA, depending on the driver design

Just wonderign if any1 here knows what sort of laser diode is in the B0323 sled? How much power it can handle and what speed burner/writer it came from?
