merged consecutive posts the front cap is so tight that it looks like one whole piece.And yes it has the interlock in the battery cap,and also a key for safety. Lserglow is vary lazy in answering emails,but thats what the do.The company is in Canada.

Laserglow will not repair its laser,it will send a new one for 200 dollrs,thats the cost for a new laser.

Warranty is over.And the problem with the button is that is not making good contact,sometimes theres no contact and laser will not glow
