Lucent Optics, Lasers & Service Any Good ?

I have had an EnVee 100 for a year now and it seems fine. but i don't have a laser meter to measure output so I don't really know its output.

    Lasers = Illegal soon :(

Not necessarily so warezwally. The story said the IMPORTATION of CERTAIN laser products would be prohibited. This does not mean EXISTING lasers are automatically declared illegal - which would be practically impossible anyway.

    Does laserglow do upgrades?

Laserglow definitely does upgrades and if your laser is in good order you will likely get 75% of the retail value of your laser. I'm not exactly sure if you are not the original owner but if you got the laser from Laserglow anyway, I'd be confident they would do something for you. Ask Justin -...

do you still have green protection goggles - I will buy now if so and if the PayPal link is fixed.

Power your laser with a Universal Adapter?

Yes, the Hercules can be run from a universal adapter. The Herc has a separate point where the adapter plugs in and which when connected to the adapter, bypasses the batteries altogether. Of course, using an AC adapter only has much point when used with a laser - like the Herc - which has no...

    Safety Glasses GB!

I'm delighted to hear this member02. but the PayPal link does not work for me. Is it me or has the link gone down with the delay or ...... ? Anyway - I definitely want a pair of green protection OD3 goggles - save some for me till I can get the link to work.

    Safety Glasses GB!

So back to topic. I would still like a pair of these goggles ESPECIALLY IF they are OD3, or even OD2. Just so long as they REALLY ARE OD3 (or OD2) and not just an expensive piece of colored plastic. Do we know yet member02?

    Safety Glasses GB!

Hi member02 what OD are these goggles? I have two pairs of approx OD6 and would really like to get some around OD3 which should still be safe but allow seeing more that a tiny spot. Ta

    Lucent Optics

We don't seem to hear much about them here. I got an EnVee 100 last year and while I do not have a meter, it does all the right things (lights matches at distance etc) and still works fine. So what do we think of Lucent here? What is the general experience?

    Nova lasers???

I would go with the Alpha - I have one, or at least a Lucent Optics EnVee 100 - and I have been very pleased with it. Having read more here I would probably this time buy from Nova rather than Lucent (though Lucent were fine in my case). I think from what you describe of your interests now, that...

    Lower OD greenie goggles?

I have a pair of Laserglow greenie goggles about OD6 and a pair of nes_ds greenie specs which while slightly different also seem to be around OD6. Both work fine - in some ways too well because there is often not much of a spot to see. Does anyone know if you can get, for instance OD4, which...

    Lucent Optics

They do not feature in a major way on this forum. But I have one of their EnVee 120mW for nine months now and have found it and their customer service good.

    Please Help!

good to see this error corrected, chris. Laserglow service is excellent as i can personally testify to.

    DX v.s. Ebay

I would go with DX too. You have some idea of what you are getting and they take crook stuff back. You never know what you are getting or who you are dealing with on eBay.

    New Posts section

Yes SenKat I LOVE getting the e-mails too. But they only come IF you have already posted about a topic you are aware of. Because there are so many different forums on LPF, you have to check each one to see if there is a topic you are particularly interested in. A 'new posts' section would tell...

Thanks cOld. A 'new posts' so that you can instantly see ALL new post regardless of which (sub) form they are in will really keep LPF as THE premium laser forum.
