    Forgive me for being dumb in this subject... but what’s that in layman’s terms... so does the case it goes in becomes the positive? , I guess providing the housing at the top is touching it.. and negative goes to the spring??? thanks for the help by the way..

    I’m trying to replace a laser in a disco light. I’ve got the same wavelength and output but can’t work out what the positive and negative points on the circuit board are??? Anyone help... the power from the light is 3v like not really electrically minded... don’t mind a bit of soldering hope...
