Alright so all I have to do is get a heatsink from gtr and a g2 lens from them and talk with lifetime17 for a good host and the just assemble everything

So do you think I should get dtrs module or is it too risky?

So the sxd driver is already included in the $68 module that is premade?

So if I were to buy the diode already pressed into the module I would still need two lithium ion batteries, a host, and an SXD driver?

I'm assuming that a 20mm host is too big? That's all I'm finding on survival lasers

I was wondering how you guys learned so much about lasers because I'm a fairly new person when it comes to this stuff and I'd like to learn why each part is important for a laser and how to effectively build them

Do you know how some companies are selling two watt lasers for like $50?

Thanks I was also wondering why this build seems so expensive? Some of these lasers are available for $50 but mine looks like it'll be $80 even though they're the same power

So besides that are the other parts listed okay? I can't find a housing either
