Woah you weren't like about especially big LOL. I doubt I have any that size lying around but I'll shop around. I'm pretty curious on that idea because as you saw in the first image that was just after a light press in the vise but the end result took a bit of force and I was worried about...

I'll have to try that out for the m140 diode I still have lying around, with the vise it is a challenge to keep it straight. I didn't think of channel locks but that sounds like a good idea.:unsure:

Ah I used the tool that came with the modules off of DTR's site, as I showed Lifetime in PM's this was the end result https://ibb.co/1frLGvJ But I'll have to check out some removal tools never hurts to have them in case I do mess up. Thank you.

Hey man thanks for the advice, I said it wasnt in all the way, that was before I pressed it flush with the vice ( I found a video that helped out really well). Thank you though, I pressed it a bit and realized it was crooked so I tried it again and realized it went in more it was a bit recessed...

GPS(Global Positioning System) is think of if you have ever used google maps or apple maps for directions on where to drive that is an example of GPS.

I just re read the post, I failed to realize he was trying to LOCATE his tent not just have a laser for show at his tent. GPS is for sure the best option.

Also he mentioned HIS tent at festivals, and I'm not sure if some have rules on lasers so finding a way to keep a powerful LED flashlight cool could be the better option like you said.

On a post where a user was looking for a laser to use as a signal someone recommended a search light. And I think that could work for you but those take a lot of power.
