You can connect positive wire to the spring and ground to the side of the module body, just be careful not to short circuit it, I still think a rechargeable battery like 16340 or 18650 will work much better than a bunch of AAA in series, but you can try. And make sure you know the right polarity 😄

Looks like you can just throw it in a host, put a 16340 battery and good to go? What are you planning to wire it for?

I said I'll buy another laser from them with the partial refund if they give me one, so I ended up getting a $40 660nm laser from them for $20. It works fine once it warms up, I just can't have it on for too long. They advertise it at 10mW. I have a cheap LPM that measured 40mW.

My guardian 488nm ^ For me ideal size is 18350 mainly because I have a lot of those batteries lol. But also because its such a nice form factor, also the Jetlasers PL-E Mini because they can fit 2 18350s !! Smallest hosts like the pocket or laser pens suffer from poor battery life and heat...

Nice review, mine can't read anything lower than 25mw, thus when the laser is above 25mw the reading starts at 25mw.

I was referring to not knowing about it having "low" and "high" power modes along with flashy mode. Thanks Gazen and Paul for clearing stuff up, I thought those options were for the back switches. The divergence is pretty good, its actually the same as on my 520nm PL-E Mini.

The laser came, its pretty cool and I didn't even know that its multi-mode. One negative thing about it is that it came with a tail cap button even though I ordered it with the "code switch" option, not sure if its worth contacting them about it though. I'm planning to do a review on it some...

You can try finding and buying a new lens top for your laser, will probably come cheap for a cheap laser, also there are whole hosts available for cheap for these lasers.

I'll post some, didn't know you guys would want beam shots since there are so many reviews on this laser already haha.
