Is this laser from eBay plug and play, or does it require a driver?

Yeah, I'm not expecting great durability out of cheap lasers. All I was looking for is a cheap way to test the idea. If I knew what the minimum wattage for this was, I would buy several different wavelengths and whichever performed best I would then buy a more powerful one of that wavelength.

Is this laser from eBay plug and play, or does it require a driver?

Y'all are right, there are better ways to kill weeds. Most herbicides kill the root and all the first go around. Hi there, newcomer from Michigan

Thanks for the warm welcome all! I'll try to mind my manners and see what information I can glean from you folks. I had to laugh at this one: Quote: Posted by RA_pierce "Welcome. Sounds like an interesting project. How will your automated system discriminate weeds from plants? I imagine...

    Hi there, newcomer from Michigan

Hello all, I am working on a project that would use lasers in an automated system to control weeds around plants, like in a green house. As a little background, I have played around with concentrating sunlight some. Which has some similarities but is different than lasers of course. I do not...
