I just received it the other day, and it had the marking "Thor MII" on it. So far it has worked great, and engraves wood when passed over. Do you think it's the glass lens if it is marked as the model that does?

Actually, I just received it yesterday, and it appears to be the second model, the one without the resin lens. It's strong enough to engrave wood when passed over it. Had no problems so far, works great. Also, I would think a score of 98.1 is good... Is that not the case?

It's too late to cancel the order. I guess I'll get it and if it holds up, it holds up. I could always claim I never received it, or it was defective... (Which I suppose would be the truth if the lens melted)

Have I messed up? I've purchased the one from this listing and apparently some of the listings actually have glass lenses while others come with acrylic that melts. There is another Thor listing I saw that costs two more dollars and has "US" in it. I do not want to have to mess around with...
