I haven't had it out much. The beam looks solid. The dot is a small flat line. Haven't measured it yet. When I noticed it going out of focus, I used my safety glasses. I always wear them. Plus they help when trying to fine tune the beam to a specific point.

It flies great. GPS coupled with all of the sensors inside keep it really stable. I get between 18-24 per battery.

Great review! I had come across some extra cash getting rid of stuff and bought a phantom 3. I loooove it. Have gotten some great shots and video. Got a pic of this little guy when I loved in Hawaii.
