    Laser goggles help!

Then buying those goggles should be no problem. However, I wouldn't recommend a 13 year old who has "4.5 grand" in the bank, to use it all on lasers.

    Laser goggles help!

Here, But you shouldn't get into the hobby if you can't save enough for goggles after buying lasers. Eye safety comes first!

Looking for specific goggles..In business anymore..?

I've only heard good things about the eagle pair so you can't go wrong with them. They will definitely work if you need them for your custom machined 445nm build. (I saw your thread btw. and that host is awesome! especially for a 9mm 445nm)

Just bought my first laser.. Couple questions!! :D

    3. From what I read, usually btw. 20-70mW (including IR) 5. Yes, you should be able to see the beam in the night sky if it is 20-70mW

Just bought two custom lasers from Tmack and im addicted(Heavy Pictures)

You should have no problem seeing 1W of 638nm in the night sky:drool:

    Lowest binned "445nm" Diode

You could try cooling a 445nm diode with liquid nitrogen to achieve a lower wavelength but I think you're looking for freak diodes that are naturally low in wavelength.

    Looking for Red

Thanks for the welcome:) but was the positive rep really necessary? :(

My laser's trip from California to Paris.

I apologize for the criticism and I guess I can see how others would find something in this thread. Like Tha Greenlander said, I don't have to view the thread if I don't want to.

Re: FS: 1 Watt 445nm Blue Laser with Charger, 2 Sets Batteries , Glowrings etc. $99. Isn't that a bit too cheap? I wouldn't lower with too much haste.

How Powerful are IR Diodes from DVD & BluRay Sleds?

maybe the physical "manufacturers" who assemble the product might not know... (that's all that I could think of )

I by no means meant to be offensive nor to "ridicule" tha greenlander. Also, time of membership doesn't always reflect the quality of the member. I've searched these forums for some time now and understand the general workings of the forum.

Best place to buy bare nichia diodes?

Ahh makes sense, it's too bad then that no one at these diode manufacturing companies is a laser enthusiast at LPF and bring take prototypes and such into our market for more reasonable prices.

    Warm to the touch

By "thermal capabilities" do you mean thermal conductivity or specific heat capacity? or both?

Best place to buy bare nichia diodes?

What's the purpose of listing that particular diode at that price? Does the manufacturing process really entail THAT much more work?

    My 6W 445nm Laser!!!

I've seen your videos on youtube! I didn't realize you started here at LPF, but I mean it makes sense. Anyway, nice build, I enjoyed the vid.
