I'm not exactly sure..I put it together and it was working but then I toughened it a little bit and it broke.so I look at it and after trying to fix it I believe I burnt out the diode with the soldering iron BUT on the good news I know what to do for the next one I order and I thank all of you...

yes it was....I got it working but after I think I might have broken the laser diode..thank you guys for helping me I really appreciate it..

I tried everything and its still not working......mhemling33...do you have the same host flashlight that I have? if so can you send me a link to were I can order one for cheap because mine isn't working no matter what I do....and did you have any problems with yours?

ok well I did what you said and it didn't work....so is it possible that the blank battery contact is broken?

I don't know what you mean by touch the exposed part to the pill.

no I cant pop it out unless I de solder it.....so it is making contact.

yea I tried that with the screw driver and it still doesn't turn on...so that means the the blank battery contact is burnt out right?

how can I bypass the switch with metal?

I tried a pool of solder and aluminum foil and it still doesn't work....the laser works fine because I hooked it up to a power source and it still works BUT in the flashlight host it does not work..is it possible that the blank battery contact is burnt out or broken?

the batteries aren't loose at all, there in well...but when I was adding solder to the board I might have had it on the blank battery contact board for too long..is it possible that I burnt out the blank board?

whats a DMM? and you want me to unsolder the solder that connects to the blank driver to the ring?

Im having problems with my laser build..i have the laser and driver and its all working well but when I put it into my c6 cree flashlight host it doesn't receive power and work..i uploaded a video showing it working without the host..then it not working with it..please watch it and let me know...
